Semiperm® Monofilm forms a monomolecular film that adheres to the mold.

Semiperm® Monofilm is silicone-free and suitable for the treatment of thermosets such as polyester (cold and hot molding), epoxy and phenolic resins. Especially when the treatment takes place at high temperatures (> 50 ° C), impeccable results are obtained.

Before the first application of Semiperm® Monofilm release agent, the molds must be thoroughly cleaned of dirt residues and the former release agent. The next step is to apply the Semiperm® Monofilm release agent and let it dry. The application can be done either by spraying or by brushing. After a short drying time of 1-2 minutes, the mold surface can be polished with a lint-free cotton cloth to a high-gloss finish. Repeat this procedure 4-5 times on new molds. Before starting production, ensure that the film is absolutely dry. Semiperm® Monofilm must be stirred or shaken before use.

WARNING: This product is not particularly suitable for masters with a finish other than two-component acrylic paint.

With epoxy or polyester finishes, areas of adhesion may occur.
